Geological analysis

Brief description of the northern, central and southern regions of the panchayat

Northern Region

Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 23 and 24 are in the northern part of the panchayat. Ward 1 (Punnakkal) extends to the northernmost part. Wards 3 and 4 are located close to the eastern boundary. Wards 23 and 24 are in a small area in the central-northern part.

Central region

Wards 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 22 form the core of the panchayat. Ward 5 is centrally located and shares borders with various wards.

Southern region

Wards 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 are in the southern part. Ward 13 (Patthamuttam) is the ward that extends southward. Ward 14 (Mayiladumkunnu) is one of the larger wards in terms of area.
