Citizen Charter 2025
The Citizen's Charter released by the Panachikkad Grama Panchayat in 2025 is an official guide containing comprehensive information regarding the various services available to the public from the Grama Panchayat office, their respective timeframes, and the conditions to be followed by the applicants. Prepared as per the directives of the Local Self Government Department (LSGD), this document guarantees that various services obtained from the Panchayat President—such as character certificates, unemployment certificates, life certificates, and family relationship certificates—will be made available within one day. Furthermore, it details over sixty major services, including birth and death registration, marriage registrations under various religious rites, corrections therein, building permits, property tax exemptions, trade and industrial licenses, social security pensions, and job card registration under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS). These have been explained in simple terms for the information of the public.
